All dentists at Azalea City Dental are accredited
dentists. This means that they are dental specialists who have completed four
years of dental studies at an accredited institution and earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Drs. MacRae, Kern and Bellerjeau are dedicated to creating outstanding smiles
for their patients, using the latest technology available and go to great
lengths to participate in training all over the country to bring the best
available dentistry to the Mobile area.
John Bellerjeau, DMD, MAGD
 "Dr. John Bellerjeau attained his education
at the University of South Alabama (1985) and the University of Al-Birmingham (1989). He also completed a General Practice Residency at Yale University in 1990. In practice for eighteen years, Dr. Bellerjeau is a member of the American
Dental Association, and the Mobile Area Dental Association. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and also has the pleasure of being a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a level that only 1% of
general dentists achieve.
Dr. Bellerjeau is also involved with local charity dentistry for
many of the local churches. In addition, he is also a huge outdoorsman. He enjoys golfing, fishing, biking and exercising. He also keeps active with his children's activities. He and his wife Heidi are the proud parents of son, Steen, and daughter, Aidan."

Scott C. MacRae, DMD, MAGD
 "Dr. Scott MacRae graduated from the University of
South Alabama with a
BS in Biology in 1985. He went on to graduate from the University Of
Alabama School of Dentistry in 1989. He also completed a residency at the VA
Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Dr. MacRae has been practicing for close to
20 years and is a member of the Alabama Dental Association, the
Mobile Area Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the
Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a Master of the Academy of General
Dentistry, a level of achievement which is reached by very few general
dentists nationwide.
Dr. MacRae is very dedicated to giving back to the community and
volunteers with the Medical/Dental Missions of the Episcopal Diocese of the
Gulf Coast. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as sailing and hunting,
and he even enjoys the art of cabinet making. He also enjoys spending time
with his wife of eight years, Leanna, and their five year old son, Cameron."

Shaun C. Kern, DMD
 "Dr Shaun Kern has been practicing for seven years. He
received his education first at Birmingham Southern College, then later at
the University of Alabama School Of Dentistry. He is currently a member of
the Mobile Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Alabama
Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
An avid college football fan, Dr Kern also enjoys the outdoors.
He particularly enjoys fishing, and enjoys spending time with family."
